Registration opens for GenerationEU: Promoters of European Democracy, 2026-2027 edition

The European Parliament Office in Romania has announced the opening of registrations for the 2026-2027 edition of GenerationEU: Promoters of European Democracy, continuing the tradition of bringing together 20 young people eager to get involved in promoting European values and democratic principles. Marking 20 years since Romania joined the European Union, this edition's central focus is promoting the European democratic model and the benefits of Romania's EU membership in local communities, with an emphasis on raising civic awareness and engagement among young people, and developing their critical thinking and media literacy skills. Together with partners Group of the European Youth for Change (GEYC), the European Institute of Romania (IER), the Young Initiative Association, the Youth Forum of Romania-Brăila, and the EUROPE DIRECT centres in Cluj, Craiova, Iași and Timișoara, applications are open to anyone who wants to join the GenerationEU community for the 2026-2027 edition, running from October 2026 to May 2027.
